OTHER SUPPLIES – You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc.), masking tape, scotch tape, and sharpies. You can purchase other supplies from Wal-Mart, Target, office supply stores, or Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..
Clothes that are presented well sell better. Please wash clothes if necessary. Don't bring clothes with stains, rips, tears, holes, missing buttons, broken zippers, or excess wear - they will not be put in the sale.
No metal hangers! Please use PLASTIC hangers that are sized appropriately (kids hangers for preemie - kids' size 6; adult hangers for anything larger than a kids' size 7). All hangers should face the same direction, looking like a question mark. Pin the string tag on the item's left shoulder (your right when looking at it).
Our minimum price is $4. If an item is unlikely to sell for $4 (e.g. a single onesie), then group it together with one or two more like items. Pin them together on a hanger and price them as a bundle to meet the minimum threshold.
All pants must be hung on a clipped pant hanger or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor. Pin to the TOP of the hanger with safety pins.
Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together with pants hung on the back of the shirt at the TOP of the hanger. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.
If you have a new item still on a hanger, you can leave it as is.
Please only bring like-new shoes! 1) Put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of the shoes (or inside shoe if it does not stick), this will help if they get separated. 2) Safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet. Ziptie the shoes together.
No heavy winter boots for the spring/summer event.
No flip flops and sandals for the fall/winter event.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT DIRTY SHOES, SHOES WITH SCUFFED TOES, SHOES MISSING LACES OR INSOLES, OR DISCOLORED SOLES.
We accept crib and twin bedding. NO full, queen or king.
We recommend packaging a bedding set together in its original clear plastic bag with zipper. Large Ziploc bags (vacuum storage bags) can also be purchased (at dollar stores) to keep bedding clean and together.
Label any bedding set with everything that is included and the size. Add a picture, if possible. Safety pin or tape tag to bag. Add your consignor number and price to the bag in masking tape, in case the tag gets lost.
Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together.
Bottles, rattles, socks, bows, etc., should be grouped together in Ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin or tape tag to Ziploc bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the Ziploc with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off during the sale.
Pro Tip: Bibs and burp clothes sell better when you pin them together, so people can see them and check quality.
Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely (we recommend zip-ties). If parts get separated, the item will not sell.
Games should be taped closed. Puzzles, books, videos, and small toys should be grouped accordingly and put in Ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and pin or tape tag to the Ziploc bag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off.
Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran Wrap to keep the pieces intact. You can bag the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle in a Ziploc bag, then place it inside the box to help it stay together, too. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL GET SEPARATED AND NOT SELL.
The only stuffed animals we accept are name brand's like Disney, Build-A-Bear, Jellycat, Slumberkins and/or Squishmallow, and singing/motion stuffed animals.
Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys, it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor # and price. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, furniture, and baby equipment!
Due to an increase in toy recalls, we will inspect toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy we think may have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall.
