STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, Rhea Lana Store (link) or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.
You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .
If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.
The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc.
Follow the rule of "Would I be excited to buy this?".
We will be checking your items at the store and will not receive any item that has rips, tears, holes, buttons/zippers missing, stains, excessive wear, or is out of season.
Use PLASTIC hangers-size appropriate for the clothing item. You don't want your item falling off. it will not sell on the floor. All hangers need to face the same way, looking like a question mark. then pin tag on items' left shoulder (your right)
You may also use wire coated hangers as long as they are 'size appropriate.' No metal hangers, please!
We accept clothing in sizes newborn-teen, girl's junior sizes and maternity clothing in-style and in good condition. Many TEENS wear adult clothing, so we will accept adult sizes , but ONLY in popular teen styles and brands
For the Spring Event, we will accept spring and summer clothing, as well as lightweight jackets (no coats), lightweight pants, khaki pants, jeans, and long-sleeved shirts that are �spring like� in fabric and look (although, they sell better in the Fall). We will NOT accept heavy jackets, sweaters, sweats, fleece, corduroy clothing, or snow boots (rain boots & cowboy boots are acceptable). Don�t forget about� Holiday outfits (Valentine�s Day, Easter, 4th of July), rain gear, swimwear, and pool accessories!
For our fall event we will accept cold weather items, Christmas and Halloween themed outfits, Childrens Halloween costumes, long sleeves, short sleeves, jackets, coats, snowsuits, hats, gloves, boots, tennis shoes, dress shoes, and jeans/pants. We will also accept shorts in OK. No flip flops or sandals, sleeveless shirts or tanks. SWIMSUITS accepted all year!
Our minimum price is $3.00. If an item is below $3, group items together so that they will reach that value. clothing needs to be pinned together so they don't get separated.
All pants must be hung on a clipped pant hanger or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor. Pin to the TOP of the hanger with safety pins.
Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together with pants hung on the back of the shirt at the top of the hanger. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.
If you have a new item still on a hanger, you can leave it as is!
Shirts do NOT have to be pinned to the hanger, unless it is sliding off. It is best to use an adult size hanger once you reach
Please only bring your like-new shoes! 1) Put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of the shoes (or inside shoe if it does not stick), this will help if they get separated. 2) Safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet. Ziptie the shoes together. No heavy winter boots for the spring/summer event. No flip flops and sandals for the fall/winter event. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SHOES WITH SCUFFED TOES, DIRTY OR DISCOLORED SOLES.
It is best to package a bedding set together in its original clear plastic bag with zipper. Large ziploc bags can also be purchased to keep bedding clean and together. They sell the XL bags at the dollar stores. Label any bedding set with everything that is included and the size., with a picture if possible. Safety pin or tape tag to bag. Add your consignor number and price to the bag, in case the tag gets lost.
Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together.
Bottles, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin or tape tag to ziploc bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off during the sale. Bibs sell better when you pin them together, so people can see them and check quality.
If you would like to bring large furniture pieces to our sale you must contact me for permission. (Desks, tables, chairs, etc) This will all be based on our space limitations. All furniture must be in EXCELLENT condition.
Your car seat must have been manufactured within the past five years. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition and not more than five years old. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.
Due to the thousands of recalls and the crib regulations being raised, we will not sell any crib manufactured before December 2010. Contact the manufacturer of your crib to find out if it is recalled. Most companies will send you a repair kit or give you instructions on how to return your crib for a refund. We DO accept Pack n Plays and Bassinettes.
